Dr Caroline Scarman is an experienced General Practitioner and a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. She graduated from the University of Queensland before returning to Sydney. She has work on the Upper North Shore and Central Coast for over20 years.

In addition to her clinic work she has previously served as the Chief Scientific Officer in the Australian Regular Army with tours in Rwanda and Iraq. She has also worked as a Medical Consultant to the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia (NATA).

Dr Scarman has experience in Rehabilitation and Geriatric Medicine as well as Women’s Health. She is dedicated to delivering personalised and preventive care to her patients with emphasis on Family-based medicine.

Our centre is a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic. We provide Comirnaty,Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine.  If you are 5-year-old and above, please make appointment for the vaccine with our nurses or doctors ASAP to protect yourself and the community.

Flu vaccines cause antibodies to develop in the body about two weeks after vaccination. These antibodies provide protection against infection with the viruses that are in he vaccine. The seasonal flu vaccine protects against the influenza viruses that research indicates will be most common during the upcoming season.

Annual vaccination is the best way of preventing the flu and any associated illness. You should get the flu shot every year because the flu virus is constantly changing. Every year, the flu vaccine changes too, so it protects against the flu strains which are most likely to be around during that winter.
