Dr Ru Dee Ting
MBBS, FRACP, PhD, MClinT (R)
Dr Ru Dee Ting trained as a cardiologist at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
He has a PhD and a Masters of Clinical Trials with the University of Sydney at the NHMRC Clinical Trials Centre and the Heart Research Institute and is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand. He has conducted research and published papers in the areas of diabetes, stroke risk and myocardial infarction, and presented a numerous national and international conferences. He completed a fellowship at St Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, through the University of Toronto and is a qualified interventional cardiologist trained in coronary stenting and percutaneous cardiac valve procedures.
Dr Ting is accredited to perform coronary angiography, intravascular imaging and haemodynamics, right heart studies, structural intervention and percutaneous coronary stenting at a number of private hospitals in Sydney. He is a clinical lecturer in the clinical schools of The University of Sydney and The University of Macquarie and is involved with the training of medical students and cardiology residents.
Dr Ting has an interest in ischaemic and valvular heart disease and preventative cardiology.
Dr Ting speaks English and Mandarin.
